Online checkin question

Hi everyone! We are checking into Riverside next week and when I went to do online checkin the only requests available were corner room, first floor, top floor, or second floor. When we went to French Quarter last year, you could also choose closest to transportation or closest to food. Am I crazy?

To be closest to food and transportation I think you may need to have booked a preferred room and then those options are on there. Otherwise if you didn't I would look on a map to see what buildings look closest and request that building if possible?

We always call and add our requests to our reservation because online check-in only has limited options, as you saw. Plus, we also fax in a request letter 6-7 before arrival and had very good results. Like Plutosgirl mentioned POR has a preferred rooms reservation category, but you can still request other buildings that you may like.
