No, that “feature” of online check-in is busted. Been like that for a month or so. That could change at any moment I guess, but that’s the way it is right now regardless of your travel date. And yes, they recently (for unknown reasons and with no announcement) made online check-in available well in advance of the original 60-day window. Go figure.
Honestly I wish they’d remove the “Room Request” feature of online check-in completely. Leads to tons of confusion.
For room requests, I would suggest either calling the main reservation line and having them added or using other options such as Touring Plans.
