Ok so have a card on file for our upcoming reservation and it says we are all set. I have it set up to text information about our room. So how does this work? Do we still go to the front desk when we get there? We should get to the resort around 11:00 or 11:30 so if I don't have a text that the room is ready will they still hold my carry on bag like in the past so I can go to the race expo? Thanks!

Maybe, maybe not. Not everyone that does Online Check In and signs up to get your room number texted to you gets to Bypass The Front Desk.

If you haven't gotten a room ready text by the time you arrive, I would go to the Online Check In desk because your room might be ready. If it's not, Bell Services will definitely hold your bags for you.

Just to add; you may also get texts that tell you your room is not ready, but that they are working on it. If you get to the hotel before they text you that it is indeed ready, do what dansdad suggests and go to the Online check in desk. If they do text you that the room is done, you don't have to go to the desk if you don't want to, but you can if you are unfamiliar with the hotel, have questions, etc...

I'll add one more - they may also email you your room number! Last trip, I had done online check-in and my cell number was on file (in many places), yet for some reason they emailed my room number to me instead of a text.

We did online check in and got there pretty early, so we ended up at the front desk (even though we had already got a room ready text) We had to pick up our buttons and parking pass (gate did not have it yet). They also gave us a packet of information with a map of the resort and such.
