Online Check-In

We are flying from Glasgow to Gatwick then on to Orlando with British Airways for both flights. Does anyone have any experience with online check-in for this type of flight?

We did this a few years back with BA and Virgin and when we checked in at the desk we were checked in for both flights at once and didn't have to collect our luggage in Gatwick. If we check in online, where the flights are all broken down separately, would we have to collect our luggage and do another bag drop at Gatwick?

This just popped into my head when I was reviewing our booking on BA website.

We booked everything, flights included, with WDTC so our itinerary starts in Glasgow if that makes a difference.

We did this flight last year but from Edinburgh. Doing it again next year

You do OLCI for the domestic flight first and it will then give you the option to do the longhaul flight right after so you essentially get a head start with the OLCI for the LGW to MCO flight

You don't collect your luggage at Gatwick - it goes straight through
