Hi Everyone,

My daughter's flight does not arrive until 4:10 PM on her check-in date. Would it wise for her to check-in online, or won't it make any difference?.

On-line check in has it's own line and designated Cast Member. Your check in packet is ready in advance. Show ID, give your credit card if you want it on you key to the world card and you are done.

We have used on-line check in exclusively since its inception. We have found the lines to be shorter than regular check-in especially during high traffic times like Fri, Sat, and Sun afternoons.

So it won't hurt, but may be definitely helpful depending on the day of the week.

It will save a few minutes. Especially at peak times when a lot of people are checkin in.

Does online check-in have any impact on room request. I believe, at least initially, online check-in had some drawbacks for cash reservations. For example, complimentary room upgrades...

Besides if it makes a difference whether or not you get your room request (if available), i was also wondering if it pays to do it if you are staying AKV Club Level?

When we check in there, we already are getting the person meeting us outside when we get off the ME and taking us upstairs to the desk, etc. Would online check-in make a difference in this case? Cutting keys? Room ready upon arrival?

I don't believe it has an impact as they are requests and not guaranteed. Plus, you can still have your room changed if you do not like the location if there is availabilty. You still have to talk to a CM to check in.

As far as upgrades, they don't happen unless there is a problem in the room inventory for DVC.

We still did on-line check in when we stayed CL. They don't have to print your keys which may take some time depending on the size of your party. Not sure what else it helps with.
