Online check in?

We are 9 days away from our trip! I know we can do online check in 10 days before...What are the advantages to doing online check in? I want to request a certain area...can I do that with online check in? We are staying at the Beach Club Villas...will there be a different line for online check in? We are staying in a studio our first night and then a one-bedroom the rest of the stay. Do I have to do the online check in twice? Thanks for all the help...been to Disney many times but never before had online check in (can I say online check in one more time!!)

You would check in online twice, once for each of your non-linked reservations. I had 2 nights in BCV studio, each with a different number, but they were linked, so I only checked in on line once. However, after BCV, I was going to AKV, and so I did check in on line for AKV when the day came up to do that.

There is a special place to go at the BC for on line check in. Your folder is already put together and they don't have to swipe your CC if you've done that on line, so check in is a very small bit easier.

I don't think you can change any requests on line. I didn't have any.

On-line check-in is faster if the resort has a long regular check -in line.

It saves Disney money, allows for fewer Cast Members, and reduces the number of Members making special requests at check-in.

I requested a pool view room. If I use online check in will that request still be on my reservation providing I don't request anything else while using online check in?
