Online check in with special request?

We will at at the ASMU Dec 10-17 and have 2 rooms. I have requested connecting rooms (i know they are not guaranteed) and first floor (mom will have a scooter). When we were at WDW last year we only had one room and did online check in and it went well. Now this time we have the 2 rooms and a few requests. Has anyone had good luck with getting requests met if they do online check in? I'm thinking of not doing it but don't really want to stand in a long line to check in.

The requests available on the online checkin form are minimal and generic.
If you have specific requests it is best to call and have them noted on your reservation. The fewer requests you make the more likely you may get them. Order them as to the most important request first.
Then if you want to do online check in as well, don't make any requests on that form
