Online check in room requests - glitch?

I’ve been trying to put room requests in my online check in and the drop down fields have nothing in them. I’ve tried in a couple of browsers and on an iPhone as well as a PC. Any suggestions? Is this a glitch or have they changed it? Last time I travelled (also in DVC points) I had no problem with the requests. All I want is ‘high floor’ or ‘near pool’ etc requests, nothing complicated that would need to be recorded any differently to the online checkin options.

It has been this way for a few months now. I would call and put in a request.

That’s so annoying. While I have a great phone plan for international calls, the time difference is a nightmare so I can’t call at a convenient time of day.

I wonder if Disney is doing away with room requests. When I realized I wasn’t able to make any requests online, I called. The cast member I spoke to told me I could not make any room requests? It was very odd.

No, they aren't. It just comes and goes.
It was gone for about a year, came back for several months and then went away again.
You got a misinformed cast member when you called.
There are no problems with calling to put in a room request.
Can also fax them in or use the Touring Plans fax service.

Its basically been glitchy for a year now.
I just called to note my room requests of 50's section lakeview at POP.
I'll see how well that works when I get there in a few days and then probably call for the same requests for my December trip.
Online check in and room requests used to be great until they updated the system and now IDK if it was on purpose or accident but the drop downs just don't work.
