Online Check in . Room request problems.

Hi all, we are getting ever closer to our trip.
We were able to do the Online check in at 60 days out.
Everything seemed to go through OK except the room request.
It says its unable to complete our request at this time or something.
We are staying 2 weeks in Old Key West, has anyone else had this problem.
Was just going to leave it and keep trying as the holiday got closer.

Failing that what is the best way to ask for a room request, have phoned and emailed in the past and got our request more or less granted.

Thanks, don't want to sound daft but do you mean I have to wait till 10 days before I arrive to request a room online or I have to wait to phone to request a room.

If you've booked with WDTC-UK, just send them an email (or call them) and give them your room requests.
Ask them to add those requests to your file.
You can do it as soon as you want to, and up to a few days before arrival.

I agree with this - I did get mine to take at OLCI otherwise I would have emailed them.

You can not phone the resorts (when you think you are you are actually getting a call centre) and do not read faxes anymore.

If you booked through WDTC, I would do both.

When I've put in requests at the outset, they haven't been honoured. When I've done it ten days before, they have been honoured.

Could be a coincidence, but as rooms are assigned ten days before, I would rather ring then to make sure

For the past 5 years I have always faxed my request directly through to SSR and have always got my requested area.

Fingers crossed we are lucky again this August
