Online Check-in Request Options?

Is there a resource anywhere that lets us know what room requests options are available when checking in online? Like which resorts offer high/low floor requests, which offer close-to-pool requests, which offer specific section requests? I'd love to be able to browse a list, choose a resort, and see what they offer as room request options.

I’m not sure of a list, but you can call MS and they’ll put in the notes just about anything you ask. Also, Touring Plans will fax specific room number requests for a small fee. These options don’t guarantee anything, but I’ve had decent success with both.

I am unaware of any list for the resorts.. Be aware that some years ago, each resort had a lot of choices you could choose from when doing online check-in. That then changed to only a small number of choices and the ones that now exist are limited and often useless, e.g., you can request "close to an elevator" at Kidani -- since there are three elevators spread out over each wing at Kidani that request can result in being put in any room in the building; likewise you can request "high floor" at Jambo when all DVC rooms are on the fifth floor (except for the small number of club level rooms on the sixth).

Thus, you should avoid the room location request page in the online check-in system. As a member, you should instead make whatever specific requests you want to make through MS. Moreover, once you have made a request thru MS, you should avoid entirely the request page online because using it will wipe out the prior request made to MS.

Exactly what I do, just ignore room request requests on on-line check in.

I am not seeing room request option via drop down menu on my online check in. Is this only an option at some resorts?
