Online check in questions..

I have a question about online check in. They ask if you are flying in for the cruise. We are, but a day earlier. There doesn’t seem to be an option to choose hotel to port.

Also, I called to tell them that we are staying at AoA the day before the ship departs, and that we need pick up from there. Should this information show up on our reservation on the DCL website?

It would show up in your cruise book under ground transportation because you purchased the DCL bus from AOA to port. I once added one way transport from ship to resort for just my husband and son last year and it never showed up online. But they got notification letter in the cabin.

At AOA the night before you leave for port, you will get a letter with meeting time and location to be picked up. You will also have to have your luggage ready to be picked up early in the AM.
You can book MDE from the airport to the hotel by entering your flight information as well.

It should, but often doesn't.

Just be sure that you've informed DCL that you are taking DCL transfers from WDW resort to port. And make a copy of the check in where you select where you're coming from. There should a pull down menu with options to select. If there isn't, call DCL and ask them about it. And tell them that you are coming from a resort, ask for confirmation (email) that the information is correct in your check in. Make a copy of your reservation where the cost of the transfers shows to bring along.

But, don't worry too much. When you get to your resort, check with the guest services people to confirm that they will be picking you up the next morning to go to the ship. They should be able to work it out.

Our last cruise, our cruise booklet showed that we were going from port to airport at the end of the cruise. The online reservation showed that we were going port to resort. When we got onboard, we went to guest services, and they said, no problem. When we got off the ship and headed to the resort buses, the check in lady looked at her assignment board and they had no bus going to our resort. But they put us on a bus that was already going by our resort and all was good.
