online check in questions

I thought I would give it a try..no big hardship to me if its messed up when i arrive

for those that have done it and were on a DDP..did they just charge that to your CC you listed when doing the online checking thing?

If you want to change your cc info is there a place online to do that?

also, when checking in online they had the ages of my kids wrong I have 3- 12yr olds and 1- 9yr old. they listed me as have 3-10yr olds and 1- 3yr old

is this a problem? why does the online check in thing say that? been going to disney since the older kids were 9 , never been a big secret about their age. Is there a place online to correct this info?

also, they had a spot to list your room requests, I clicked on it, but it had no where to actually type anything. It wouldn;t let me type in the box.

also, curious what if something happen and you never actually can show up? what would they do with your points..would they go into holding, even tho you did the online check in?

I'll try to help you with some questions :

~ guessing that age of kids should be corrected ( DDP price varies by age )

~ if a DVC reservation is cancelled at less than 31 days and up to day before
check-in then the points go into Holding Status and are not bankable and
must be used by the end of the Use Year and a new reservation to
re-use these points can only be made 60 days or less before the new
check-in date you'd like to have. If the reservation is cancelled on the
day of the check-in OR there is a 'no show' the points are lost completely.

Have not used online check-in as of yet, sorry I couldn't be more helpful with your questions on that.

I would skip on-line check-in. Call MS and correct their ages and add your room requests. You will pay for the DDP at check-in and you can use a different CC for room charges.
