Online check in question

We have a preferred site reserved at the end of October. We are renting a fifth wheel from Florida Camper rental.
When I look at online check in, the box for accommodates an awning is already checked. I would like to request the 100 loop, but there is also a box that says 'accommodates a fifth wheel'.
I am only able to choose one- must I choose the fifth wheel option? Or would I be ok if I selected the 100 loop?

FSU,

I had a problem back a while ago when Magic Bands just had started and got my list of MB's hosed on my reservation.

There was a help/support link on the MDE website to have a Disney IT person clean it up and set it straight (which is rolling the dice these days with Disney IT). They were prompt within a few days of acknowledging my email request, fixing it, and letting me know it was good to go.

You can ask them to "uncheck" the awning option so you can go in and check the two options you want. Or you can ask them to uncheck and to check the ones you want. You are allowed two options to check off.

There is a help/tech resource link on MDE and I wanted to let you know it worked for me.

Good luck!

Bama Ed

PS - here is a link to a thread I did a while back on the on-line checkin with MDE for the Fort for folks to chew on.

Thanks for the info! I think "accommodates an awning" is one we will need checked anyway. I guess my question is since we have a 36 foot 5th wheel with double slide outs, is it necessary that we check the box "accommodates a 5th wheel" for a preferred site or will it be fine if we check 100 loop?
If it's a given that that will fit fine then I'll just check off my desired loop. Does that make sense?
Thanks for your help!

Sorry - my bad.

Since it's a rental and they will be parking it for you on the site (they are professionals, after all...) I would check the loop 100 box. I've reserved a Preferred site my last 3 trips, always requesting 100. I got 100 once, 200 once, and 400 once (a Premium across the road from the 100/200 Comfort Station) at no extra charge. So it's kind of a crap shoot anyway - and remember it's only a request.

Your vendor can spot the trailer so the slides don't interfere with any trees, utility stumps, grills or picnic tables. So if I had to pick one of those two options, that's the one I would choose.

I would normally close by saying "have fun" but since you'll be at the Fort in late October, that would sort of be redundant, wouldn't it? :teeth:
