Online Check-in Question

DH and I are staying in POFQ for a second honey starting 7/6. We did online check-in today. When the screen popped up for room requests, we decided on a whim to check the box for close to transportation.

The request doesn't really matter a huge amount to us because we know the resort is very compact. However, when the screen flashed up that our room request couldn't be accommodated, I began to wonder if POFQ was overbooked for this weekend.

My only concern is that I hope we don't get bumped from the resort. I really wanted a nice intimate feel to our second honeymoon. Of course, if they wanted to put us up in a Deluxe, that would be awesome. I just wouldn't want a sprawling moderate resort.

Any experience with this message during the check-in process? Does it really mean anything? Any experiences in being bumped from a resort?

My guess would be they are booked for those types of rooms or have too many requests already. If you have a reservation, I can't imagine they would bump you to another resort. If they suggest POR, the Magnolia section is beautiful-we love the mansions!!! Have a magical trip!!!

I tried to book a room at POFQ for our same dates and there seems to be some availability. Thanks for the tip on POR sections though! I think that resort will be on our next list, maybe for a trip with the family.....although DH doesn't know I have that thought
