online check-in not working?

Hello. I am less than 10 days out from my reservation and I'm trying to check-in online. I know how to get to the right screen for online check-in, but the little gold box that says "Begin Check-In Now" isn't there. So, there is nowhere else for me to click to go further. I've called the resort a couple times and they say they're going to forward the info on to IT, but nothing has changed. I really wanted to check-in online because the last time we checked-in in person, we had to wait until 6pm to finally get our room with tired, hungry children waiting in the lobby all day long, because everyone else had used online check-in. I've used multiple computers and multiple browsers, so I don't think the problem is just with me. Anyone else having issues with this? Any advice? Thank you!

I tried the mydisneyreservations link. It took me to the page where I could log in to reservation and do online check in there. I have been having problems with the different sites over the past few days and saw on some posts others as well. Maybe this will work.

There have been other reports of problems in the last few days and the source is apparently an update/new system that Disney (not DVD) did to its ckeck in site. Some apparently get in, some don't and Disney has said it will be fixed "soon." (The last time I heard that was when DVD said in 2005 that on-line booking was coming "soon." It showed up in January 2012.) In any event, be aware that doing on-line check in does not mean you will get your room earlier. It has no impact on when your room becomes available.

I've been trying to log in through the dvc member page. Then, I just go to my reservations > upcoming trips> then click online check-in. Am I supposed to go to a different website instead? I tried going through mydisneyreservations, but it just sent me to the dvc site again.

When we were at Bay Lake in 2011, we arrived at about 11am to start checking in and we didn't get a room until after 6pm because they said there were so many other people ahead of us because they had checked in online. Were we misinformed by the desk staff? We've been trying to do the online check-in because of this. Thank you for your help!

On-line check-in is not currently working. Also, using on-line check-in should have no effect on what time you get your room as they are all pre-assigned before arrival for all guests.

Well, it seems to be working now. I just completed online check-in for both resorts I'll be staying in.
