we will be at the boardwalk prior to our departure is there access to a computor there (not taking a laptop) so we can do online check in going back i.e release of better seats 24hrs prior
also it would be handy to check my fairfx balance

The only place you might get access is at one of the business centers at resorts like Coranado springs or the Comtemporary etc I am not sure maybe some one else knows about Swan/Dolphin which are nearer to you. Not sure if you have to pay or not.

We are going to use my husbands mobile to do ours through BA. They have a special mobile use site or we can access the normal one. I know its going to cost but with at DH at 6foot 9 we really need those extra leg room seats.

When we were at Boardwalk they had conference centre with business suites. I think you may have access to them if you are dvc members, although we didn't bother.

Otherwise I know my DS used the computer at Disney Quest to check in online with VA - altough this could be a bit inconveient from boardwalk

Sometimes the CMs will let you use the computers to print boarding passes/complete online check-in. I've never done this myself since we always have our laptops, but I've heard of others doing it.

We wanted to do this last month and were told that, near the Boardwalk, The Dolphin has a business centre where you can use a PC, but that any guest services desk in the Disney resorts will do check-in for you, and even the Guest Relations desks in the parks (don't need to give up park time to do it!)!

We've been assisted to do on-line check in by CMs on the guest relations desks at both SSR and OLW. I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't be able to 'take control' of the process, but the CMs couldn't have been more helpful

Do BA allow online check-in for exit row seats? I am pretty sure that Virgin will allocate exit rows only in person at the check-in desk where they can see the passengers and are happy that they meet the requirements of being able-bodied, etc.

We did the online check in and got the seats no problem as they were available. Only time I was ever questioned was when I pre booked with flyglobespan.
They told did point out the doors and asked if we would be ok to do them but other than that no problems. Think it helped when they saw the height of my DH
My best advice is be online the moment it hits 24hours before your flight to make sure you get the best seats. When we checked in last time we flew with BA they allowed us to check in for both legs of our flight at the same time because we were catching a connection.

Did they let you do this 24 before? I though it was only a few hours?
