I want to use the online check in for my return flight in July. I am not taking a laptop with me. Is there somewhere onsite that I can use to check in or an internet cafe close by? I will have a car so if i have go somewhere then it wouldn't be too much of a problem.

I don't want to use Disney Quest - the last time i was there you could not get an a computer for love nor money and half of them were not working.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I keep hearing that the WDW hotels will do check-in and print off boarding passes for you, I don't know if thats only for the us airlines or all of them, and you don't need to be a guest to do this. Might be worth finding out more about this.

Claire, my understanding is that it's only for domestic flights with participating airlines.

ETA: Here you go. It's part of the Magical Express information page on the DIS, but it's available as a separate service. Looks as though you do need to be a resort guest as a valid Key to the World card is required.

A cast member did the online check-in for me at Saratoga Springs Resort's Guest Services desk when I asked if there was anywhere I could do this for myself. We were staying at the resort, but I don't think I was asked for resort ID.

It worked well in this instance, but I did feel I'd lost the 'control' of the check-in process as I didn't feel comfortable taking up more of the CM's time than absolutely necessary, so didn't check seat allocations, etc.

I agree with Hilary. Front desk CMs at OKW were happy to do a BA check-in for me (I'd gone to ask about the closest business centre) but it couldn't be done at the front desk and all of my details had to be taken to the back office.

I was reassured that they would always be happy to help, but then BA had pre-assigned seating, which they no longer have. Next time, I shall be wanting to do it myself in order to have control over seat selection etc.

If you are really stuck, and are doing some last minute shopping the day before you leave, you can use the computers in the Apple stores! There is one in the Florida Mall and Altemonte Mall.
We always check email when we're shopping! But, we always take our wireless laptop too. We love uploading our pics and sending them home! The family love getting up to date images!
Hope this helps
Tracy
