online check-in from US ?

We performed online checkin 24 hours before departure at CBR reception last year. They were very helpful.

Thanks,Ill try POR day before we leave and hopefully we'll be successful.
Just checked in online for tomorrow-very strange.We were down for different seats ,but the ones I want (near toilets for little ones) are still empty,so booked those.

I agree with someones previos comment...why ask which seats I want then change them or give them to whoever checks in first!!??

More seats are released for pre booking with 24 hours to go. Most people do not want to sit near the toilets so it could be that when the extra seats were released Virgins computer helpfully moved you away from the toilets

Do you need to print anything out when you do online check in?, we will have our laptop and internet access at the villa but no printer.

i would love to check in online and change our seats on the way home!!!

We never do the DTD check-in as we thought by the time we had lugged all our bags on the bus, stood in line then got the bus back that would waste a few hours so we just checked in at the airport as normal and all was fine, actually there was no-one else at check-in! But I will definately try the on-line check-in both ways this year.

No you dont need to print anything, we did it at Xmas from out hotel room with no printer.

I think DTD checkin is only worth doing if its convenient and not a long queue. 1st time we did it at DTD took us more than a hour then when we got to airport there was nobody at the desks when we passed.

If you check in online and then go to airport and there is a line I am sure you can bypass this, there should be a desk for online checkin only, there was at LAX last Oct, although others in long line were not happy we went to front.
