Online Check-in and Pre-booking?

Hi

I've been to the states several times but we tend to just go up and check-in 3 hours before the flight. I booked our flights this time on expedia. Can I pre-book us two seats together? And how do we do the online check-in thing? And what's twilight check-in? We're going to LA from Manchester in 4 and a half weeks.

twilight check in is something virgin atlantic do, most airlines do the online check in but might be worth calling expedia to get your us airways reference and going onto us airways website and seeing if there is an option to log into your booking
