Is there a difference? I am an AP holder trying to book with deluxe dining in August - will it be the same price online or should I try calling?

Thanks!

I'm an AP holder also. I booked my last trip online and I'll never do it again. After booking online, I called to have the AP applied when it became available - all was good so I thought - until I checked in - no AP discount was applied.

When calling to have the AP discount applied, The phone CM's said because I booked online they couldn't tell me the exact amount of my discount, I would have to wait until it updated online which it never did. Then after three online requests to have it updated - never happened.

So I just left for my trip fully expecting my discount to be there upon check-in and it wasn't. The desk CM asked me which phone number I called to get the discount and she called it and pretended to be me to find out if I had the discount :scared1: . I did eventually get it applied, but it was alot of strange doings to get it to happen.

Too much confusion when booking online, then trying to change something by phone - you get different reservation centers and mistakes happen - never again for us. :badpc:

I always book by phone. The Cast Members are more than willing to work with you to get you exactly what you need.

I just booked two rooms at Pop Century for my in-laws and an aunt. I won't be with them (I did not use my annual pass discount - they are using AAA). I was able to explain to the Cast Member WHY I wanted connecting first floor rooms. I know it's not guaranteed but it's certainly noted why.

Booked my first trip online and it was fine. . .HOWEVER, booked my May trip over the phone and found this to be a much more streamlined process. Not to mention that the cast members can check on discounts for you and get you EXACTLY what you want (if its available). The website is sometimes limited. For example. . .did you know there are rooms at the Boardwalk Inn that have bunkbeds? you wouldn't know unless you asked a CM. I am taking two teens of opposite sex in August and this was the one thing keeping me from booking at the BWI, after talking to the CM online she got me a room with bunk beds. . .sweet. . .
