Bear with me, this may be long but I am losing my mind!
I'm trying to book a 2 bedroom at Riviera for Sept 18-20. The online tool says the nights are available. When I click continue, the pop up window says this room for these dates are no longer available. Now I know rooms can be snatched while you're still working, but this doesn't seem to be the case.
I tried 5 different times last night and 5 more this morning and each time it showed availability, then continue, then the pop up. There's just no way I'm missing the room in that moment 10 separate times! Another annoying thing is when I use one contract that does not have enough points, it lets me continue on. When i use the contract that has the points i need, i get the pop up.
I've tried incognito, clearing cookies, the works. What in the world?!!

Do both contracts have access to Rivera points? Maybe the one that has enough points is not eligible for Rivera

Not clear on what you mean that one contract without enough points seems to work and the other not. Do both have the same use year beginning month? If so, you may want to try using both together when trying to reserve, Also, is there any issue that the one contract that will not work is a post-mid-January 2019 resale purchase and thus cannot be used for Riviera? Or is the contract you are trying to use one that got a special extension beyond its expiration date due to Covid, in which case you may have to call MS to be able to use it? In any event, it sounds like something you may need to call MS about.

Oh interesting..i hadnt thought of that angle, that the contract isnt eligible for riviera. Yes we closed in March 2020 so that must be the case. The other contract was bought over 10 years ago. That must be the issue- thank you both for helping me, no more going crazy!

The ability to secure RIV shows up for all but as mentioned, only the points you bought prior to Jan 19 can actually be used to secure it.

Glad at least you know now why it wouldn’t go through!
