Online booking - few ?'s

I haven't been around much lately due to the other commitments that life has so I'm not really up on the new online booking system. I've checked it briefly for our October trip but didn't want to play around too much before I am ready to book something. Sadly I haven't booked a trip since I booked our June 2011 trip way back in 2010

My biggest question using the online reservation system is can you use it if you are borrowing points? We will have a mix of current UY points as well as need to borrow a few from next years points. We have two contracts for AKV so it doesn't matter which one the points are taken from.

I don't have anything booked for Oct yet as I'm going to roll the dice and go with whatever I get. I'm hoping for a 1 BR at BCV (I know - unlikely) or 1 BR at OKW. Would it be better to call MS or just go online and book at the 7 month point? Any advantage to either?

Just book online. When you are ready, you make the reservation and there is a link that will let you borrow the required points.

Online opens at 8:00am, so you will have a 1 hour advantage on those who wait until 9:00am to call member services. I got a reservation for VGC last week and I think it definitely helped because the next time I checked, some nights were soldout.
