Online AP purchase question

It dawned on me this morning as 7am quickly approaches and my FP window is opening for Dec. that even though I have a resort booked, I dont have tickets, therefore, I cant get FPs!
So my question is, if I purchase APs online, will they issue me a certificate # immediately or will they email that to me, or will I still need to call to get the certificate #?

Are you ordering direct from Disney? I know when I bought mine from sams club they e-mailed me a voucher shortly after. I would think through Disney it would come right away.

It shows in your MDE right away. You just just need assign it to the family members.
