Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

Just tried it and it worked fine for me. It even gave me a Nemo Tusker House package that I've been trying for since my 90+10 day back in late May! Of course now I've completely reworked my plans so I no longer want it so I didn't grab it, but there's one out there that I saw for the first time ever for Aug 27th! I didn't see any problems or have the site work any differently but maybe it's been fixed since the last post!

Is there any way to view dining reservations made by phone through disney dining reservations online?

Probably, unless you're a DVC member or had a TA make your reservations, in which case you may have problems.

On the main WDW site, hover over the orange suitcase and words "My Disney Vacation," and the last link is "Dining Reservations." You can pull them up using your dining confirmation numbers and the phone number you gave.

Hi... I know this has probably been asked 100 times already, BUT, just to make sure it's straight in my head for 6 am tomorrow:

If I want to try for LeCellier, or CM, or CRT:

-Dining Reservations
-Pick one of the above
-Under update profile info, click Retrieve a Reservation
-Type in reservation number & phone number (no dashes) from my TA's information
-Click on Retrieve and my 90 +10 dates should be available in the calendar???
-Pick a date later in my stay for the best chance at availability.

My reservation number comes up just fine, but I can't get beyond Oct 2nd. That's because my 90 +10 window hasn't come up yet, right? Tomorrow the +10 dates should show - yes?????

Seems like everything is running fairly smoothly now. Glad everyone is getting pretty much what they want with their ADR's! I'm just a little fuzzy on exactly how the +10 dates show up within the system.

Thanks for responses!!!!!

This question was answered on July 4th as "Yup...100% correct"

I'm sorry that I have not read all the pages since then. Today I was practicing on the ADR reservation system and I tried to follow the above instructions. I'm unclear on the part where I get the system to retrieve my reservation. I realize it may be because I'm still more than a month away from my 90 day window.

My question is "- Under update profile info, click Retrieve a Reservation"
How do I do that? When I click on update profile info now all I get is the ability to change my email or password. When my ADR window opens will that page include a section that offers "Retrieve a Reservation?" Or will "Retrieve a Reservation appear on the top of my screen somewhere near the "update profile" option?

I want to figure this out before the actual morning I'm trying to get mostly hard to get ADRs (CA Grill, Le Cellier etc.) I'm doing fine finding the restaurants and looking for availability 90 days or less from today.

Your ADRs will not be under your user profile. There is an orange suitcase in the upper right corner of the screen (whether you've made ADRs or not)...just click that suitcase and in the drop-down box will be "dining reservations". If you click that then enter the ressie # plus the phone # you gave when you booked the ADR (not the phone # used to book your vacation) and then your ADR will pop up.

I'm trying to make sure that I know how to make my initial ADRs when I'm at my 90 + 10 date.

Thanks, I do see that orange suitcase but I think that is where I'll go if I need to change any ADR.

Tomorrow is ADR morning..

Excel spreadship with "plan" ready.

Pen ready.

Cookies cleared.

Good wishes and pixie dust appreciated please

Sorry if I misunderstood your question. I looked back at your post and it seems like you were asking how to retrieve your reservation.

To just make a reservation just click on either the park or resort the restaurant you want is in, when you find the restaurant click "make a reservation" then choose your date/time/#people and search. You'll need to type in those funny squigly words for every ADR you want to put in your cart. To view your cart while you're in the middle of it just go to the orange suitcase and click on "saved dining offers".

Hope that answered your question this time! :goodvibes

What time in the morning does the online system begin taking ADRs? The call center opens at 7am EST, right? Does the online system open at the same time?

We are traveling with BIL and SIL but I will be making all of the dining reservations. So, we'll have 6 people total, 4 on my ressie and 2 on theirs (2 seperate reservations). Will the system look at my resort reservation and see I only have 4 people on it and only let me book a table of 4?

I don't want to waste precious time on the online system when my booking window opens if it won't let me book a table for 6 on a resort reservation that only has 4.

Thanks so much for any info :goodvibes

Online dining opens at 6 am EST, an hour earlier. I had to do it 2 days in a row (split ressies b/c we were changing room types) from the west coast - the only good thing is that I got everything I wanted!

I haven't tried but I'm pretty sure you can make the reservations for everyone together - I don't think it limits you to the people in your ressie (e.g., you may be meeting friends there and want one ADR for the group).

Good luck!

I am staying off-site and will not be using the dining plan and do not have a reservation number...sooooo....my question is can I make ADRs for our entire stay on the 90 day out mark or do I have to make reservations for each day when it is at the 90 day out mark? Does that make sense?

For example, Aug 8th will be 90 days from our 1st day @ disney. So I can make ressies for Nov 6th. But can I make ressies for the rest of our stay or do I have to log in for ressies on Aug 9th for Nov. 7th, Aug 10th for Nov 8th...etc. HELP PLEEEESE!:confused3

The 90 + 10 is only if you are staying on site, so yes, you will have to book each day separately.

When I was practicing today I typed in those funny squigly words for an ADR and then once it was made I cancelled it since it was only practice. The one big thing that I am concerned about is at what point during my first real ADR reservation can I open up the plus 10 option? I want some kind of assurance of how to do that first thing at 6:00 am EDST at my 90 day out date.

Naturally, the practice sessions I've done are all 90 days or less because that is all that I can work with now.

When you make your first ADR, you should see some text asking you if you want to link a hotel reservation to your dining reservations. Type in your resort confirmation number and your telephone number (whatever phone number you used to make the hotel reservation) and it should pull up your resort info. At that point it will open the +10 days.

You can try it now just to see if it will find your reservation even though it won't open up any days for you.

ETA: This is on the screen where you enter the date and number of guests -- before you type in the squiggly words.

I'm going to be getting up extra early tomorrow just to try and get Kouzzina as soon as the online reservations open for the day. Keeping my fingers crossed, and hoping for pixie dust.

Has anyone found out how to book Kouzzina this morning? I don't see a page for it...
