Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

Now I am on hold for 30 min

Am I doing something wrong onine? Anyone who has done it successfully want to chime in with step by step directions :)

:woohoo: Got everything I wanted, except for the coveted Le Chelleir of course. Which I am disappointed about but - well what can ya do?

Day 1
Teppan Edo 2pm
Day 2
50's Prime Time 1pm
Chef Mickey 7:50pm
Day 3
Garden View Tea Room 2pm
Day 4
Tusker House 8:05am
Day 5
1900 Park Fare 9:30am

Everything pretty much smack on for the times I wanted! :cloud9:

Good luck to everyone else still waiting. :)

I think the problem with the online thing is that I keep getting an error code when I enter my resort reservation number. It tells me I need to call. So then when I try to book my dining it wont go past the 24th.
Its odd because I can access my resort ressie on another page?

Not sure whats going on but I have been on hold for 30 min already :sad2:

You are probably trying a different phone number than what is associated with your resort reservation. If you have your resort reservation there should be your name, address and phone number listed somewhere in there. That is if you booked directly with Disney.

I was having the same problem. It's not my phone number since I can retrieve my reservation online, I just can't retrieve it through the online dining page. I finally got through on the phone. It only took an hour! Was not able to get LC though!

I'm ramping up to make my ADRs in just a few days, and I want to try the online booking. How does it work for the +10? Will those days become available on the calendar you click to pick your day? Right now, it looks like the +10 days are still grayed out, so you can't click on them. You can only click the 90th day.

Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!

You have to enter your reservation number where it asks to link a resort reservation to the ADRs and that should unlock the +10. It isn't always working and you won't know one way or the other until you try to sign in any time after 6AM on your 90 day mark.

I book through a TA so can't pull up my RESORT reservation online through disneyworld.com anyway so I am not sure what information is needed to pull up the RESORT reservation. When you retrieve your resort reservation does it ask you for a phone number or are you just loggin into the system and retrieving your information with just your name and resort reservation number?

the same thing happened to me the other day for our first stay. I could not access the +10 no matter what I tried. Came up for me the next day no problems though. Today was our 90+10 for our second part of our stay, I was a nervous wreck but the +10 came right up and I was able to book everything we needed. I feel for everyone, it's so frustrating when it doesn't work right :sad1:

Up and online at 6:15, no luck only able to book 1st day.

Got on the phone at 7:00, was on hold for an hour  then only got two out of the four I wanted. No Ohana, no Le Celier.:sad1:

I am so frustrated as I am sitting here sick with a horrible cold, hacking all over  and still with not great results.

Boy, you start right at the time you are allowed to and you still dont get what you wanted. You practically have to beg to eat at some of these Disney restaurants. It is ashame.

I SECOND THAT! I've been booking online within my 90 + 10 for 5 days. The first 5 days, I was up at 6 eastern, and it magically opened that window for me at 6 on the dot. Yesterday, it linked my resort reservation, but would not open the +10. I ended up calling at 7 and did fine, but checked on an off all day, and it never opened. I just tried today for the first time today and it's BACK to letting me into the +10. Go figure.......

The lesson here is: familiarize youself with the system, learn how to load associate your reservation, and CROSS YOUR FINGERS. It's a thing of beauty when it works, but will drive you nuts if it doesn't.

There are CLEARLY some programming errors that have to be worked out still....

I still haven't gotten it to recognize my reservation. I can pull up the reservation just fine elsewhere, and I even paid the trip in full last night to see if that would help, but no luck. It still says I need to call. I booked through Disney, so that shouldn't be an issue. I check like every hour...

I sure could use some pixie dust... :tinker:

What time is the online system available? I read someone went on line at 12:01 and most are 6:00 EST.

TOMORROW for me!!!!:scared1:

I had the same problems as everyone else here. I called the Dining number and was only on hold for a few minutes (about 9:00 AM Central) before a FANTASTIC cast member got me everything that I needed. 15 minutes later, I was done.

She said that they knew about the problem online and were trying to fix it but it would be better to call the number to get everything booked.

These are the problems that I had to work through before being successful at 6am this morning.
1. I"d been able to navigate this week through the dining reservation site successfully, practicing making then cancelling reservations.
2.I"d been having trouble logging onto the site, due to password trouble initially, then finally reset it and checked several times last night that I was able to log onto the Disney site., and bring up my resort reservation number(booked directly with WDW), so that I could book the 90 +10 days.
3 Once I was able to do that several times with no trouble, I tried working the favorites. I was unable to get them to save, because when I 'viewed favorites' it kept bringing me to the blue disney screen with all the attraction sites marked as favorites from my customized maps. I then 'created a new list' and started to select my desired restaurants from there, but they were not all shown, and when I tried to select 'dining' from their drop down menu, it said unavailable. When I looked at my original favorite list (shown with all the attractions I"d marked, I selected 'add more favorites', and found the rest of my park restaurants I wanted, so marked them as favorites, and deleted all the ride favorites.
4. This am, I logged on, went to the favorites blue screen, where my restaurants are now shown, selected the first one, entered my resort confirmation number, and sat poised waiting for 6am to book the first ressie.
5. After each one, I had to return to the 'favorites' screen to select the next one, or simply back paged to the regular dining screen and typed in the name of the next restaurant, instead of scrolling through them all.
6. I hurried through, praying that my computer wouldn't boot me out as it is wont to do, till I checked out and printed my list.

Hope this might help those who are having troubles.

Working for me. I got a 12:00PM Le Cellier lunch for the last day of our stay.:cool1:

Can I add dietary restrictions after checking out using online ADRs? I just realized I forgot to do that this morning.:headache:

i was able to 90+10 today. although the system crashed 3 times during the checkout process and i had to start over. so i would have been done at 6:15 with 7 ADRs instead i'm just finishing up at 6:45.
you might want to call if this happens, & get them to give you the list of your ressies. this happened to me, & when I called to make sure they were all there, there were some that I didn't need because the system actually booked them, even tho it appeared that it had not. I cancelled the extras immediately, but I have a feeling that I'm no where close to the ony person this has happened to.

That's great! Congrats!

But just understand that you could do that several days in a row, and sometimes it would let you book into the +10 and some days it might not. I was good 4 ot of 5 days I did it, but did it the same every single day.
