Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

Is it only possible to have your reservations e-mailed to you if you made them on line? I made my reservations on the phone. Is it possible to check them online?

Yes, you can check your ADRs online and have them emailed to you even if you made those ressies on the phone. That's what I did.

Weird thing happened to me. I made two additional ADRs last night and got the confirmation email, but when I try to view them today, it tells me they don't exist.:confused3 I wonder if it's because I forgot to associate them with my resort ressie. Anyone else have this happen?

While I don't think people should make fake reservations, and I certainly don't plan to do so, I do think this its absolutely unfair that split stay reservations aren't coming up correctly. I have a three way split stay (with 6 reservation numbers...DVC and CRO). So now I have to do my ADR's 6 times??? That's hardly fair, seeing as how I'm staying on site the entire time!!! Last year, with our split stay (all DVC) we called and got to make reservations for the entire time, despite the move. Currently we can't do this online (it only allows one room reservation number...well, until the DVC numbers get fixed it won't matter...). Absolutely not fair, and something they need to fix. Why punish us because we decided to extend our DVC stay and pay for a room through CRO!

How are you punished? Just call the ADR line and make ressies instead

In order to make reservations online for 90+10 does it ask for the confirmation #? I've done them within the 90 days for our July trip.

Just wondering for the future.:confused3

The whole point of this thread is the online system...I want to be able to use the online system the same way everyone else does. And I'm sure other people with split reservations would like to use the online system. And be able to start booking at 6:00 am versus 7:00.

I had this happen also. I found that using the online form I used my cell phone number because they asked for a number to reach you in the park. The reservation from my phone call to dining are under my home phone. Maybe you also did this.

Thank you, Thank you! You're right, that's exactly what I did. I now can see those ressies I made last night.

The online system is unbelievable!!!!!!! I love it. This part of the the Disney Website is working perfectly, amazingly organized, completely informative. I just made 2 reservations for July. I love how it makes suggestions for other restaurants. I love how the menus are available too! This makes planning so much easier! Thank you Disney programmers!

After years of ph calls, I love this system. I going to the beach in August, and promised my mom that it would turn into a Disney vacation! We are spending a day showing my mom around and at DTD. I made online ressies at Ohana's no problems!

Because THEN you're an hour behind the rest of the CRO guests in making your ADR's....who can login at 6 AM and make all their ADR's.

We didn't see much of an effect this AM, when calling at 7. But, as the system gets more popular, more widely used, and as people realize the advantage to logging on at 6 AM....I would expect that to change.

I tried the online system yesterday morning, and was able to add a ressie for next week. Our DD6 has a nut allergy, and as you go thru the process, there is a tab on the one screen that will allow you to note any special dietary requests.

Also there is a tab to note any special celebrations, so I am sure that's where you could note your celebation.

It was a neat process, very smooth, and saved me a phone call.

Amen! I feel the same exact way...

Where exactly do you access the site in order to do this????
And do you need to enter your resort reservation # in order to use 90 + 10???

You can make them at disneyworld.com under dining - when you choose the restuarant there will be a "book reservation" button on the left. Yes you need to your resort reservation number in order to book the +10. You don't need one if you are within 90 days or exactly at 90 days.

Fantasmic, special dining events like dine with an imagineer, Bibbidi boutique, V&A and others like this are not available to book online.

I agree...what they got right, they got REALLY right. It seems to work very well.

But what they got wrong..they really got wrong. The DVC, TA, and split stay issues are pretty big issues. Sure, they don't effect everyone, so they're going to go unnoticed by a good chunk of the users...but I can't sit here and give the Disney IT dept a 100% thumbs up on this one. Some of the stuff missed (or ignored) during testing takes a bit of shine off the apple.

Where do you put in your reservation number so they know you have the +10? The Calender only allows you to do 90 days and that's it. I'm not so worried about my first day reservation as my others later in the week.

Never mind, i figured it out!

What time can you book? Do you have to wait until 7:00 am EST or is it open on-line at midnight?

When you bring up your first restaurant and choose "make a reservation" The area above where you choose the date will have a place where you can "retrieve" your reservation

I haven't tried it myself yet but others are reporting that online is available at 6:01am. People have tried it after midnight and also at 3 and 4am but they haven't been able to get that next day (90 days out) until 6:01am
