Online ADR's possibly working

I know. My post was aimed at those those who booked with Disney (Wish I was in WDW and madmumof2).

A lot of us have booked with Disney, but accommodation/ticket/DDP packages, although not flights. Presumably Openride hasn't got anything to do with those reservations.
I guess I can't complain as the deal I got was way better than what is available to US customers, but it's frustrating when you can't get the information you need... or can't even get someone on an 0870 number to pick up
The US CMs I spoke to were charming ('How can I make your day more magical?') but obviously out of their depth. I got as far as one of them being able to tell me my first name and an old email address based on the information I gave him, but after that he looked up and gave me the 0870 number :sad1:

I didn't book with disney :S

Ok, mix-up. Openride (Disney UK) are just a travel company, the same as any other travel company and they managed to give me my number. If you have booked with Virgin/Thomas Cook/whoever, I can't understand why they would not be able to provide you with it. I would keep on at them if they tell you they don't have it. Some people with Disney UK bookings were told they didn't have/need it, however I (and many others) managed to get it. I guess it depends on who you speak to.

I was under the impression that whether it's an accommodation booking or an accommodation and flights booking, Openride are the ones managing it. The 0870 number in my earlier post is from the Disney UK website- is that the one you tried calling?

I think most people who booked a flight inclusive package with Disney UK got their 12 digit number when they got put through to Openride. I know i did no problem at all.

Anyone who just has tickets, dining, hotel booked with Disney UK aren't able to go through to Openride and i think many have had problems getting hold of their 12 digit number.

Thanks for clearing that up poppie, I didn't know that. Who looks after all the accommodation-only bookings made with Disney UK then?

I think it is just the Walt Disney Travel Company.
For some reason Openride look after all their flight inclusive packages.:confused3

Ah, that explains it then. I think Openride are part of Virgin, which is why they deal with the flight inclusive packages.

My booking is with Disney UK. I got my US reservation numbers by emailing Disney UK (I emailed customer.support.london@disney.co.uk - the address is squirrelled away somewhere on the Disney UK website). I told them my UK reservation numbers and asked for the corresponding US numbers, so that I could use the Disneyworld.com website. I emailed last night and got a reply this afternoon - no questions asked.

However, I still cannot access it on the US website! ARRRR! :headache:

Any ideas anyone?

Ok i finally got this figured out and now i feel very silly and need my head slapped for not realising.

When I went into dining reservations i had been putting in my resort reservation confirmation number instead of the dining ADR I had already made. Mistake no 1!! then the phone number part which i had been assuming would be the last 10 digits of my number, it was the first 10, mistake no 2:headache:so effectively the last 2 digits of my phone number are missing.

so the phone number part was 441.438.****

I did it like that with dots. you need dots or dashes in between figures, but groups of 3 numbers-3numbers-4numbers.

Now because i hadnt figured this earlier i had made new ADRs this morning using my daughters email address and mobile phone number instead of home number. I went to retreive dining reservations and was able to pull up both sets as long as the phone number next to it was right. So i have been able to cancel the doubled up ones that i have altered to better times and can see all of them on one page, all correct. PHEW!!!:woohoo:

I bet no one else got themselves into such a tizzy over this. Seriously, i died my hair blonde a few weeks ago and i think the chemicals have done something:rotfl:

Is that because the web page isn't working or because you keep getting redirected to DisneyUK? If you keep getting redirected, try this link:

http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/?forceDomestic=true

No, I can get to the US website. But when I put in my (US) reservation number and phone number (in various different formats), I just get:

"The reservation(s) you were trying to retrieve cannot be found. Please check that the information you provided is correct".

I have two separate US reservation numbers, and neither work.

Yes i think they are too, Virgin in disguise :rotfl2: you can even see your Disney booking on the Virgin holidays website. All very confusing.

Lol, Virgin in disguise- that's what I said to DBF! It is rather confusing, no wonder people encounter so many problems.

OK partial success. I now have a 12 digit confirmation number. I got this by dialling the number on here:
Booking Questions and Issues - FAQ
Here are some questions concerning general problems that may be experienced when making a booking and any changes to an existing booking.

If you can't find the answer to your question, please call 0870 24 24 900† from the UK or 407-939-7718† once in Florida.

I have VOIP so called the 407 US number. This led me without prompting to someone in Dining :confused3, but anyway she asked me my name, arrival date and resort, and found a 12 digit number which she told me to use when I call to make dining reservations.
I asked what phone number was linked to that and she couldn't find one :sad1:

Just rang the normal dining line again for the last time, and finally got through to a very helpful CM! Tried something, didn't work so she tried something else and found it just like that! Less than 2 minutes on the phone! :D

I have just failed to get anywhere trying to link my UK reservation with the US details - i.e. get the correct confirmation no. and phone no.
Called WDW reservations, and was redirected around about 3 different numbers. One person retrieved some of my details, then eventually said I had to call a different number, which ended up being the UK 0870 number. I tried calling that but ended up on hold for 15 mins, so at 7p/min I gave up.

you don't need to use your reservation number..

even people who are staying offsite can book the ADRs online.

just start the process without giving any number....once you've found the ADR you want, it will then ask you for your name, email address and phone number in the US during your holiday (i used the cellphone i use in the states, but others used the hotel telephone number)..

you don't have to link the ADR to your reservation.

However, you MUST make a note of all the ADR reservation numbers.

Write them down as you get them (don't depend on them arriving in your email box - just in case you put down the wrong email address)

Just wondering if anybody has found a successful way of entering their phone number yet? I was trying to check my dining reservations online but couldn't find any way that it would accept my phone number with or without the international dialling code.

When I set up our honeymoon registry (which also requires res number and phone number to link to your resort res) a few months ago they emailed me a US conf number and told me to put my phone number as 10 zeros....

I have tried this on the ADR system but am having no luck BUT I am not at my ADR date yet so don't know if that's the problem or whether it's the reservation info???

There's just so many different ways of trying phone numbers but I don't know how much time to spend doing this if the problem is that I am not at 90 days??? :rolleyes1

Hope we get some new instructions soon!

me neither :confused3 I've tried absolutely everything and can't access my ressies,, very frustrating :headache:

Has anyone else who booked with Disney UK managed to see their ressies online?
