I've just seen that this was posted on the Dining board this morning.

Well, just an FYI....it looks like you "might" be able to start booking dining online starting the 2nd week of MARCH!!!!!!!!!!! The new system is up and the CM's are starting training in hopes to have it up for everyone soon!!

The "new" system is only booking as of today for the 26th & 27th of May, tomorrow will be the 28th, next day the 29th and so on.

Happy Booking

Might help those of you who are going in the Summer.

So that's 99 days in advance unless my maths is wrong (highly likely after the day I've had lol)? That's an odd number. :S

It's 100 days - that was posted by an American DIS'er when it was still 16th February for them (early hours of the 17th for us) - I should have made that clear.

I hope that this goes ahead OK. I have terrible trouble making myself understood and I have a very bland accent!

They don't stand a chance with my Yorkshire accent :rotfl2:
Hope we can use it for August.

That's great news. I dread phoning because they can't understand my accent :rotfl: :rotfl:

This will be great news. Plenty of time for it to be up and working by the time we go in september! :goodvibes

If it happens, this will be great. We also go in September and look forward to giving it a go! :thumbsup2

Oh right! lol How would this work? Would we still have to be really quick?

I'm imagining being able to write what ADR's you want (for the next 10 days onsite) and get an instant email telling you if you got them all? Then you'd have to keep filling the form in if you don't?

I'll probably be online and the phone at the same time to up m chances lol.

Am I the only one who gets excited about phoning and booking meals then?

I've always ended up with CMs who chat for ages about what we've got planned for our trip ~ I'll miss this part when we book ADRs online.

I am sure you will still be able to do them by phone.
I have never phoned them always waited until we got to Florida and gone to guest services or just turned up at the restaurant never been turned away yet.
I just won't use a phone, rather do a 20 mile round trip than ring someone. On my mobile I have 600 mins a months & 500 texts, I don't use 6 mins or 5 texts. I can talk for England face to face but hate phones.:confused3

I'm just the same, except that I don't mind texting. It amuses and frustrates my daughter that I always write the words in full when I'm texting.

I don't mind texting, I just don't see a reason for it but I am next to a computer or PDA all the time so use PM's, Messenger and emails.

Not really on my last solo trip in 2007 the cm spent the entire phone call asking me why I couldn't get a friend to go with me. I like my solo trips and that irritated me.
