One year.

Wow.
May 26th marked the day, one year since my knee pain began. How do I know? May 25th, 2007 I went to Hershey Park and it aggravated my tumor.

Look how far I've come in a year.
From something I though at worst could be a torn ligament requiring surgery.
To a life-changing cancer diagnosis.
This past year has been hell for me, I'm not going to lie. But in a way, it's also been a good one. My eyes have been opened up in so many ways, I don't think I'll ever take my health for granted again.

I just wanted to thank you guys for being there for me over the past year. All the thank yous in the world won't do enough justice for all of my friends here that have helped me so much.

Glad to hear you are doing better...Cancer is very scary, I dont have it but i know a family member who had it.
I will always commemorate June 7 because that is the day I had major surgery, and im scarred for life basically, so its really important to me. This june 7 is gonna be my 2nd anniversary since my surgery and im excited that another year has gone by.

you really have come SOOOO far in the past year!
it feels like it's been way more than a year!!
i can't wait until this is all over for you and you can look back on it and think about how amazing and strong and inspiring you are!!!!

Aw Sonya, we don't need the thank-you's. You do.

For one, you've shown us a light of strength that could never be defeated. You've hung in there through thin and thick, and you barely have complained. I used to think that there is only so much one can go through until they break down in complete distress and pretty much just lose their mind. You have proven otherwise.

For another, you've inspired us on so many levels. It's unwordable how much you've showed us. I can't even put it into words.

And no matter what has gone on, trolls, rude people, all that shananigans, you've put up with it and didn't complain.

Good for you, Sonya. You have a lot to be proud of.
