Good for you!! You know, October is a fantastic time to buy Christmas presents. Lots of great sales on and if you can find a way to stock up without blowing your budget...you can get great stuff at a fraction of the price. I always score great deals and then feel guilty that I spent so little on my loved ones, but they are always thrilled and never know how little I spend!!

Since my kiddo was born I've scored HUGE on Black Friday. Like 70-90% off with free shipping huge and 99% has been on my computer and not in line. My husband owns a collectible toystore so the cost of toys I'm very familiar with. A few hours of research and I buy for everyone with great savings. Really worth it!

On Sept 6th my two year old niece had a epileptic seizure which stopped her heart. They were unable to resuscitate her and she passed away.

Needless to say, the family was shocked and saddened by this loss and I have spent most of the last week trying to comfort my sister and mother.

As a result, not much activity has been going on in the Disney earning arena.

I will post the standings as they are today and then try to begin going forward with earning, starting tomorrow.

I haven't posted in forever because I don't do any rewards programs, I should as I have lots of time but haven't ever got started. Here's what I have saved since last Christmas for my trip this Dec.

$600 free flight to Disney World. got 65000 southwest air miles by opening a southwest card. I have enough points left to fly down next year for free also.

$1277 I have saved all my vacation time up and will cash it out in Nov.
$200 free Disney gift card for signing up for the Disney credit card
$214 earned in Disney rewards
$100 visa gift card for going to my advanced training graduation that the union put on. (yup it was a bribe to get us to go.)
$100 visa gift card from my Hubby's hotel rewards program
$40 at least in quarters that I have saved for the pressed penny machines

= $1931 plus my free flight down. So I figure since I have so much spending money saved up I'll use about $700 out of this for food. I'm probably going to buy my MVMCP tickets and our Gospel breakfast out of this spending budget also since it is just me and ended up so big.
