Okay, so we cancelled our Disney reservation for August. It was a combination of factors that led to the decision to abort this trip, but we are still saving to do SOMETHING this summer...it's just likely to be a Canadian vacation (maybe even a staycation) or something much closer to home than Florida. I just cancelled yesterday, so I am still

In the short term, nothing is going to change. I'm still going to be actively saving and later on some alternative options will be researched and proposed to the family, so that a new summer vacation destination can be decided upon. If it were possible to come up with the money, I would totally be planning an England trip, but that is so totally ludicrous I'm not even looking into it!!

Anyway, things have been going well. The deposit refund will take a few days to appear on the credit card but eventually, I'll be able to add that money back to the vacation account. Once that happens, we'll have pretty close to $1000 in vacation money...which is pretty good considering we've only been home from vacation for 9 weeks.

I'll be back later to update with today's earnings...I need to try to make some money on my survey sites first.
