Payday today, so things got ridiculously bungled!! I cashed in on my survey website for a $50 Amazon ecard. I've got that on hold for the moment, but took the $50 out of the MISC line on our monthly budget and put it in the vacation account. Then I had to move that earning category over to the Disney side of the budget because we won't make enough to cash out again in time for the Paris trip. Though it is still June, that payday money counts as July money plus I cashed in some of the Paris money and took out 200 Euros, so THAT threw things off even more. It took me quite a while to detangle the mess I had made shifting things around, but I've got it all square now. I'm going to redo the Paris goal right away since it's been reset anyway and we don't need too much more anyhow.

Here's how the remaining needs break down:

**Filled out a survey for $0.60 on quickrewards for which I was not paid. Mad face. (When she was little, DD used to actually SAY mad face when she was mad and we thought it was hilarious and always mimicked her...sometimes I still do it, but then I have to explain it and it's way less funny). Quickrewards has been mean to me for days! I'm less than $4 away from cashing in for another $100 Disney gift card and I can't seem to make any money in surveys at all!! So maddening!

It occurred to me that if I pooled my savings/earnings together, I'd have the amount I need for Paris from found money. So, I did that. Of course, that makes my Disney earnings look pitifully small, but also means I have only ONE goal to work towards...the Christmas trip!

So when factoring in the money going towards it from the August budget...the Paris trip is now fully covered!

DISNEY

I like to have $100 in cash for MISC expenses (tolls and such). I have $37.10 USD and I put aside what I need in Canadian to exchange for the remaining $65 USD. I've taken both of those amounts (American and Canadian) out of the budget and out of the tally.

I need to focus on the following areas:

Package
Gasoline
Travel Hotels
Food

For now, I need to focus on getting together what I need to cover the package price for the trip (not counting the $200 deposit). I have an outstanding balance of $2646.84 USD which is about $3500 CAD. Ouch! Quite a difference!! I need to pay my package off by the first week of November, so that's my top priority and the amount I will be gunning for from now on!

I need about $200 USD for gasoline, about $1000 USD for food and around $150 CAD for travel hotels. So that's about $1750 CAD at the current exchange rate. Once I have the package money together...I'll start working on these amounts.

Just a quick in and out. It's tough to do anything much online...the little niece takes up a lot of my time. I AM earning a little and tracking it and will post when possible. Her Mommy and Daddy come back late tomorrow night!! Whew! Been an adventure.
