I've looked into it...Chef Mickey's is a VERY expensive option but we've also got...

1900 Park Fare
'Ohana
Cape May Cafe
The Wave (buffet option)
Whispering Canyon Cafe (AYCTE skillet)
Captain's Grille (Buffet option)

Whispering Canyon is the cheapest (actually maybe not as it doesn't include a drink) and then Captain's Grille, then the Wave.

My preferences are (In no particular order):

'Ohana
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Wave

Not sure what the girly wants to do!

Well...we have a winner!!

DD told me this morning that she thought she was too old for the characters. So it was narrowed down to:

WCC
Wave
Captain's Grille

I showed her pics and explained in what hotel each restaurant was and what shopping/exploring would be available to use for each option. At first she was all about the dollars. :lmao: She was determined to go the the cheapest option. After she let me finish explaining everything, we decided on The Wave. She remembers going there for dinner on our Christmas Trip 2014 and really wanted to go there again. She's also pretty geeked about riding the monorail around to the different resorts to see the Christmas decorations and hit up the shops.

I really want to do breakfast at WCC (and let me tell you, it was a VERY close second for her), so I'm going to try and fit a late breakfast ressie in on our departure day. We can check out just before 11 am and head over there to eat and explore the resort. We've been there twice (once for lunch and once for dinner) and we've seen the lobby and the store but never checked out the pool area. This is a new MUST on our list and the breakfast there will help us accomplish it. We can begin the long drive home from there and it should work as an early lunch for us. We can have snacks in the car to stay our stomachs until dinner time if we are hungry before we are ready to stop.

So exciting!!

Yep! I was pretty geeked about that myself! Fingers crossed I make goal on both this month but Paris is essential.

Just because I learned about this from you. I did the checkout 51 and I have 10.75 as of today and only started like 4 days ago.
I am also going to be doing 10 a week from my husband's work checks to go into our Disney popcorn bucket
Then half of what I make at Swagbucks will start to be put away for our trip (south-west, target, or Disney cards)
In sep I will open the Disney savings account if I think its worth it if not ill just take cash from my account and add to the popcorn bucket. (I've been reading some iffy things about the Disney account lately)
I love this post because it made me start thinking where all can I start to save from and help for our trip next dec (2017)

Cool! Sounds like a great plan. It really does add up fast when you have dedicated avenues of income and some determination. Good luck with the wealth accumulation! :thumbsup2

Sooooo, my computer is totally fried. It died just before dinner. DH took it apart and it is beyond repair. So, I'm borrowing his for now until we decide what to do. It shouldn't affect surveys but I won't be able to run Radio Loyalty for a bit. So that sucks. We knew this was coming...had planned on getting a new one in the fall as mine is three years old and has been limping along for a while now. So, we'll see how the summer shapes up. Might have to get myself a new one a bit earlier than anticipated. Not sure how I feel about that. :confused3 For now, borrowing and making do with my phone is the word of the day.

Technology is wonderful!! Until it doesn't work!! I hope when you're ready you find a phenomenal buy!

**Not too much luck on quickrewards lately, but I scored a few on Saturday on Isay. I've had to scrounge up $20 for my son to go golfing on Saturday, which took away from the Paris money and made me :furious: (DH usually covers it but wants some spending money for Paris, so refuses to do it this year...may I just point out that I currently don't have ONE RED CENT for Paris spending money because it's all going to pay for the actual trip and the likelihood of me having anything to spend at all is pretty minimal....but, whatever!

I have to admit...that alligator attack on that poor wee man at the Grand Floridian really threw me for a loop. I was strongly considering cancelling our Christmas trip. If I wasn't signed up for that race I likely would have cancelled. I'm not worried about getting attacked or anything but after the Orlando shootings and then that sad news...I was seriously reconsidering this year's plan.

Under $71 for Europe!!! That's fantastic!!!! You're plugging away at Disney also!!! Are you getting excited about Paris??

Going without your own spending money would be awful, so I hope you can find a way to gather some together so you can get a keepsake or two!!!

Not too excited yet...have to get through the stint at my sister's place with her three kiddos (my nephew is 8 and no trouble but the girls are 3 years and 18 months respectively and quite a handful!!). After that we'll start getting excited for Paris.

I'm not too worried about having no spending money on the trip...I don't usually bring much on any vacation because I'm not much of a spender that way. However, I am irritated that he constantly promises his money towards the trip and then hardly ever delivers and then has the cheek to get mad at me for assuming that Father's Day golfing would be business as usual. I had to bite my lip the other day when he claimed not to have spent much of his money so far this year as it was going towards the vacation. Patently untrue and I can prove it...but it's not worth the fight. Let him have his delusions.

Oops...sorry for the rant!
