One Week to BCV!

This will be our third trip to WDW and this time we are taking the Grandparents (can't wait to show off DVC to them). We own at VWL and love it there, but thought with the warm weather we would give the Beach a try. We agonized over buying there instead before deciding that VWL was right for us. I took the boat from Epcot last time just to see the resort and thought it was great. Any suggestions on what we should definitely not miss while there? I was looking forward to trying the Flying Fish, and was wondering if Jelly Rolls is an adult only establishment? I love dueling piano bars and would like to take everyone, but if it's grown ups only then maybe I can get the grandparents to babysit one night for a couple of hours. Any reports on these places, or any others on the Boardwalk would be appreciated?

Moved you over to DVC Planning Board where you will get some good responses to your questions.

Flying Fish is great. Also go to Beaches and Cream for a sundae (the kitchen sink will feed a whole table -- or two ). The Yachtsman Steakhouse is good as well. Another is the Cape May Cafe for the clambake buffet.

Make sure you spend some time at SAB. This is possibly the best pool on property.

Enjoy walking to/from Epcot and the Studios or take the boat if you are tired. Tip -- the walk from Epcot to the villas is shorter than the walk from where the boat from Epcot drops you off for YC/BC/BCV to the villas.

If you like miniature golf you can walk to Fantasia Golf -- it is across from the Swan/Dolphin.

Yes, all of what JimC mentioned and

if the grandparents are up to it, rent one of those Surrey bikes and ride along the boardwalk. It's one of my kids favorite memories with their cousins and grandparents and now an annual tradition for us.

Also, SAB pool is really pretty at night and usually not crowded.

Last, try to watch some of the entertainers on the boardwalk as they are all excellent.
