Ok OKW lovers... one week to go!!!

What special little things can you tell me about OKW? romantic little spots? fun play areas for kids?

We requested Millers Road Area.. good choice?

Different people have their favorite spots, but to us Miller's Road is our favorite area. Close enough to the main pool to be convenient, yet far enough away to be quiet. And there are some terrific golf course views from there. As far as romantic spots, we can't think of anyplace special.

We leave in a week for our 2 week OKW stay for our 25th - it's our favourite resort - not sure about romantic spots - we love taking the boat to DTD in the evening, just walking around the resort - my favourite 'romantic' spot is my master suite or just sitting on our deck with a beverage in the evening. I know the Turtle Pond pool has a huge play area for the kids, and there is one on the other side of the main pool as well. Enjoy your stay - I will be one of the many smiling guests there! :goodvibes

depends upon what you call romantic.

like the bridge - just stop and watch.

the south point pool area - it looks out on the lake-boat going to DD.

rental boats.

sometimes the DD boat can be romantic - other times it is just noisy.

the picinic area - each pool - except the main one has a picinic area.

all the pools have play area for kids. think there is still the large sandy area behind the main pool. the main pool slide - like a sand castle with mickey.

there is also biking renting.

We stayed at Miller's crossing in august . It was our second time for this part of the resort and yes it is a great area , it has its own pool if you don't want to walk or drive to main pool and bus pick up is very close bye . Enjoy.

We stayed in the area twice and liked it too.

We would take the short walk to the HH bus stop when we were taking a bus out of the resort - it was the last pick-up before leaving OKW. When we returned, I think Millers was the first stop.

This saved us from riding through the resort for all or most of the stops when coming and going.

In addition to already mentioned play areas, boat to DD and the boat rentals, OKW also offers activities programs. You should get a list of them for the week when you check in; if not ask for one. It was called Hank's Happenings. They offered things like arts and crafts and games. Some things you had to register for and some had a fee I believe.

We love staying at OKW. Over the years we have stayed there many times. We were there again last month and had a great stay again. The boat to DD is a great feature at OKW.
