I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything recently. Anyway, we are contemplating driving from NE Ohio with about a 16-17 hour drive, not something we are looking forward to at all! But, airfare is so pricey and we'd also like to stop and spend the night with some friends of our who have moved to Charlotte on the way down. The drive down doesn't seem nearly as daunting as the drive home when we're all tired and sunburned and possibly sick of each other. So, our ideal trip would be to get a one way rental and keep it while at WDW since we're staying at AKL and would like a car to get around. Then, we'd like to drop it off at MCO and fly home. However, the prices are crazy high
! We are looking at the 2nd week of August, so it's a ways out there with no specials yet. Does anyone have any inkling if this is something that won't be crazy expensive at that time? I know some car rental agencies like to get their cars back to Florida for the winter, but is August too soon for them to offer those deals?
TIA!!

TIA!!
