One way car rental LA to Vegas?

Does anyone know of a rental company that does not charge a huge drop-off fee for a one-way rental? I see some of them add an extra $100 or more for one way. We want to fly into LA, tour around for a few days, then drive to Vegas for a couple of nights, and would prefer to fly home from there.

The only thing you can do with drop-off fees is check everybody and every class. I was pricing a one-way rental out once and seeing big drop off fees from every carrier. Then I accidentally put in the wrong class of car, and found that there was no drop off fees for a mid-sized. I guess that happened to have a glut of extra mid-sized cars they wanted moved.
