One time use points from Disney

Hi friends,
I might be a few points shy for our next trip. Would rather not borrow if I don't have to. I recall reading that I can purchase one time use points from Disney. Does anyone know how many points I can get, the costs, and how/when to get them? Are you able to get them 9-10 months before a trip?

You can purchase max of 24 OTU points for $15/point no earlier than the 7 month mark by calling Member Services.

Yes as Drewmama posted, you can purchase from 1 to 24 one-time-use points from Member Services. They can only be used to make a reservation at the 7 month mark and you can only purchase them when making the reservation that will use them.

If you cancel a reservation that uses OTU points, they will go back into your account (and expire at the end of your use year), but they will not be visible online. You have to call MS to reuse them.
