One time point purchase

Hi all...
Anyone know if DVC is still allowing the purchase of one-time points? I'm short 2 points for an upcoming trip. I'm on a 20 min "hold" with MS just to get this question answered.

UPDATE to my question:

The DVC Member guidebook states we can purchase 24 one-time points PER MEMBERSHIP. Does this mean both my husband and I can each purchase 24??? Or is it PER HOUSEHOLD? The book using the term "membership".

Per "Membership" refers to your unique DVC membership number. If you own multiple Use Years, you likely have multiple memberships. It has nothing to do with the number of owners on the membership.

If you own one membership, you may purchase up to 24 "one-time-use" points each Use Year.

And, in case they didn't mention this, once you purchase some, even if it is just the two, you are done for that UY...you can't buy more until your next UY....its up to 24 in one single transaction...and, only at the 7 month mark...

Thank you! I have only done this once before but can't remember when?? I don't *think* it was this use year but I will find out soon enough as I am on hold with MS now with a 14 min wait time. If I can't buy this this time I will have to go back to the drawing board. There are other places we can stay but we don't want to have to move for our last night in WDW.

Hello! Yes I was able to get it and they linked my reservation nights together so I will not have to switch rooms. It is a process because MS has to put you on with another department who then takes the payment before the reservation is official. When all was said and done, the MS CM made a sigh of relief and asked me if I wanted to know a secret. I told him I did and he proceeded to tell me that he was holding his breath the entire process (which last 7-8 min at most), because he knew there was only one room left and it wasn't mine until the credit card transaction cleared. So I was really excited to hear that!!!!

Oh Wow! That's good to know. I had to purchase some of the points for our Christmas stay at Aulani this past December.... didnt realize that the room wasnt mine until the point purchase transaction went through! I would imagine it was a similar situation for me too, as I seemed to have gotten the last room when I doubled back online to checked availability right afterwards and it was all filled up.
