The winning ticket was sold in Lowell, MA (my hometown) where my family still lives....I hope someone in my family bought that ticket

I know, it makes me sick to know that one person won that amount....oh well, I guess I'll be working a few more years to pay off my debt.

My boyfriend is literally heartbroken. He seriously thinks he is going to win every time he plays.

I rarely play. I read somewhere the odds of winning are less than the odds of being hit by lightning AND a bus in the same day.

Of course, I've never won anything- never won anything on a slot machine, scratch ticket etc. So maybe I'm just negative.

You know, it is smart not to play, but we pluck down our dollar to have a couple of days to play "what if?" We have a good time, so it is worth it!

My work pool won $7! 15 of us each kicked in a dollar, so we didn't even earn our money back.

I won $7! LOL! I only spent $4 on the tickets so at least I got back what I put in. I can't complain though, I won $250 last week on one of those scratcher tickets. I thought I was going to have a heart attack I was so happy! I can only imagine what I would be like if I won $290 million.

My daughters and I had alot of fun making up wish lists for the money. Do I ever really think I would win...heck no.

BUT it would be nice.

I usually buy a tickey for the NYState lotto and once in awhile i"ll do the Mega Millions...but only if the jackpot is high.
