One thing I hate about....

i know it's a bit kitschy, but for the most part I love the look at Pop. But I really can't stand the dancing people on the buildings! They are just so blah!

Anyone else find some insignificant thing that they find irritating at a specific resort? (Though those figures are HUGE!).

The country-themed rooms at All Star Music. Same reason, just think they're "blah" in comparison.

The fish on top of the Dolphin. They just look so weird. I looked it up once and the explanation is: The statues on top of the Dolphin hotel are not mammalian dolphins, but a stylized version of a nautical dolphin, a common symbol used on old world nautical maps. The design of the creatures is based on Triton Fountain in Rome.

They just look like fish to me and don't make sense on a hotel named Dolphin.

I wish the “value properties” at Disney had a bit more variety in general. Each one has a large, oversized theme.
I’ve stayed at each & always had a great time. I do think Disney could do more justice to making a value feel like moderate/deluxe.

Really? Ok, maybe hate is a strong word. I LOVE Disney. I’ve been down over 20 times in the past ten years from NJ, staying in all of the DVCs, a couple moderates and values. I just think that the figures on the sides of the buildings do not fit. And I am so happy to know that you love your BCV.

HaHa Ha. I was just on a Pop bus and a dad told his daughter that there are dolphins on top of dolphin hotel and swans on top of the swan. The girl looked over at them and said “those aren’t dolphins - those are fish”. They argued a bit but I silently agreed with the girl. Never thought about it before but those aren’t dolphins and they ARE fish lol
