Hey all,

So, you are planning a trip to Disneyworld, and you get to have steak only one time, where do you go and why? Price doesn't matter, just desire.

As this is purely hypothetical, it doesn't have to be a place you have even eaten at before. Let your Dis zeitgeist guide you.

I only included the locations that scream "Steak!" in the poll, but I added the all inclusive "Other" if your destination of choice isn't here.

I left Victoria & Alberts off the poll figuring anyone eating there is probably opting for something other than cow, but if that is your pick, write it in!

I'm sure this has been done before, but I never saw it. Carnivores, where are we headed?

The Kobe beef at V&A is the best meat I've ever had at WDW. So I voted other.

:lmao:

And the first poster out of the gate proves me wrong, good times!

Thanks for playing!

I picked Le Cellier just becasue that means I am at Epcot...and I just love it there!

I would go for Le Cellier because then I could get the Cheddar Cheese soup as well. That stuff is seriously good.

Why oh why do I surf this DISboards on an empty stomach?

Can't miss the awesome skirt steak and shrimp at Y&Y. Mama Melrose, and Teppan Edo also great for MEAT!!!

I have eaten at Le'Cellier and thought it was pretty good. I did have an excellent steak at Narccossee's and found it to be my favorite. However, the lobster tail that my wife had with her surf and turf(again excellent) was only ok. And can you believe that we stayed at the YC in January and did not go to the Yachtsman? We plan on going there this December.

I have to agree that the Kobe beef at V&A tops the list with Jiko close by. If the pole was "Where can I get an okay steak with good sides and dessert?" maybe I would have voted Le Cellier... maybe.

A minor fact - actual "Kobe Beef" is not exported from Japan.

However, the Australian "Kobe Beef" at V&A ($35 upcharge) is unbelievably good but the imported Japanese Wagyu ($80 upcharge) is wonderful and better.

About a month and a half ago I was at V&A CT with five other people. Not only did we get both the Australian Kobe and the Wagyu on oour menu, but we also had braised Wagyu short ribs as an extra added surprise.

The best steak we have had at Disney is definitely at LeCellier. Now we've only done one "signature restaurant" and that was Brown Derby and the steak there was awful. We've never done any of the other signatures so cannot comment on any of them.

Jiko filet with mac and cheese- YUM! I have to agree with the V&A comments though, but either way my vote is other. FYI - apparently the Wave also has an excellent filet option. Haven't tried that yet.

I voted Yachtsman.... had a wonderful meal there last trip, I only wished I wasn't pregnant so that I could have had a nice glass or two of red wine with my meal..... Next time.

Eaten at them all over the past 24 years...Shula's wins hands down.

I voted for Yachtsman because that usually wins each trip but last trip the DH said it was BD.

DH votes for V&A - filet mignon - says it is the best meal he has ever had in his life. Period. He still talks about it lovingly sometimes - it was at the millennium. Nine years ago. We'll be back one day, when the kids are older.
