One small complaint

Best place in DW for Fox News woudl be Fantasyland.
They woudl fit right in as their reports and commentary are make believe!
:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That is funny because I thought that CNN did their broadcasts from Fantasyland. Maybe it is only their research that has its orgins there. :lmao: :rotfl: :mic:

Ok your #2 in funny posts!!!

Fox = Fantasyland AKA Dreamworld.......:lmao:

Well look at it this way Disney is smart enough not to carry that channel!!:thumbsup2

Not true. The Walt Disney Company doesn't have a 'parent company', and it has no corporate relationship with Fox.

Fox News Channel is owned by News Corp, which is a large multinational media conglomerate run by Rupert Murdoch.

I apologize if I'm wrong, I thought I had heard that somewhere.

ABC's parent company is Disney. But for sure Disney doesn't own Fox. And not all local ABC affiliates are owned by Disney, but many of them are. My sister in law works at an ABC station and they get free Disney passes and lots of other perks. Lucky them!

And Disney resorts feature MSNBC. My one and only time of seeing it lately since my local cable no longer includes it. Fine by me.

Wonder when this one will be moved again; to the Community Board.

i didn't notice wdw had msnbc... well i hardly even notice msnbc at home either, is keith orberman still on??? i wonder why he would bother with all of the 100 people who watch him.

Yes, of course he's still on that MSNBC. How could I keep tracked of the number of days since "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!":happytv:
GO KEITH!!!!!!!

Love our DVC timeshare and all the Disney World Resorts.
Been a member for five years and I believe it has paid for itself already. Just back from SSR. I really wish they would add FOX NEWS Network to their TV broadcast system. Does it have anything to do with Disney owning ABC?
Any ideas on who I would send this request to?

Maybe Disney doesn't want the competition with the fairy tales they produce. LOL.

Disney doesn't want their guests to watch competing networks. Believe me, I wish they added Nick and a couple of other channels other than the Disney magic 24/7

Thanks for the heads up, I'll make sure to look for it.. I really hate to miss all the good reporting on the world.:mic:

Wow! I didn't know that. Do you have a link to this information? Thanks.

I don't know about FOX's ratings compared to CNN, but I know that FOX kills MSNBC. I read that in an article on MSN's webpage no less!

I agree about CNN being more global. However, we don't really watch TV at Disney, exept for Stacy. My daughter loves Stacy.

"How Fox Was Outfoxed"
Business Week Magazine awesome article How Fox News was Outfoxed by MSNBC

It's a really good read. GO KEITH!!!!!

Perhaps it is time to stick to the original post and not let this get into a "Fox News, CNN, MSNBC" debate. There are plenty of news groups for that.

Has anyone noticed how many religious stations are on Disney's lineup? It seems sometimes that there are as many religious stations as there are DVC stations. Why the heck would I need to watch multiple televangelists? I would rather watch Faux News ... and that's saying something!

Yes, this is my one pet peeve at WDW. Not the Fox Channel, but the lack of basic cable channels in general. I find it ironic that any of the hotels all up and down 95 on the way to WDW can manage to afford a wide range of cable channels...yet WDW with hotel rooms in the $$ hundreds per night cannot!:sad2:

The reason why Fox news has "better" rating than CNN, Msnbc, etc is because fox news is the only "conservative" channel...so all the conservatives flock to that channel, while the more moderates and liberals are spread between other channels.

Pretty simple answer honestly, and not really something to crow about. :rotfl:

If they'd get rid of the annoying Stacy doing her unending commercial, I'd be fine.

I have no desire to watch news on vacation, though. They could blow up most of the world and I'd be fine with waiting until I was home to hear about it.

Don't need Fox, don't need CNN...but I'd be really pleased if they'd get rid of the ads (e.g. Krissa, Stacy) and put on some magical TV. ::yes::
