If you could pick just one place or food to eat what would it be. We will eat one meal a day at the parks and want to get the best out of it. TIA

Absolutely Blue Bayou - best atmosphere ever!

And we really like the food, too. ;)

Carnation Cafe. A trip to DL is not complete without Oscar's baked potato soup.

Cafe Orleans OUTSIDE! We did this 2 days our last trip. The atmosphere is perfect on a nice sunny day.

Not in the parks, but Goofy's Kitchen. Tons of food choices, great quality and as much of what we like as we can handle. Great way to start the day - load up on protein items and fruit and then we are not hungry again until dinnertime. Plus, I like the characters!

If you're at DCA- Wine Country Tratoria is a very nice, reasonable place to eat. For park food it is very good and the price is inline with Olive Garden

We also now LOVE Ariel's Grotto. The menu used to be gross but now it is amazing. And you get the bonus of the princesses

I am a picky eater so I would say grab a corn dog from the little red wagon at the end of Main Street and go to your favorite area of the park and sit down and eat it.

Thank You for the suggestions I know we are eating at BB on tuesday the 3rd it is my sisters b-day and that is where she wants to eat. Does anyone know f they still have monte cristco that is what my sister eats but I don't see it on the menu.

For food and quality WCT in DCA. But if you eat there at night you can watch the parade as it goes by which is cool!

For total atmosphere- Ariel's in DCA or BB in DL.

It's on the lunch menu but I don't think you can get it at dinner. If you're looking at the menu database on these boards, they aren't complete and seem to be missing a lot of menu items. Try going to allears.net (DLR link is at the bottom).

If you want suggestions for counter service here are 2 of my favorites. At DCA I like the pacific wharf cafe and my new discovery at DL is the turkey sandwhich at Riverbell Terrace. It's carved turkey meat, not deli meat and it comes with baked beans, pickle spear and choice of one side. I'm still waiting to try the ribs at Taste Pilot's Grill in DCA since I've heard several people say they are good.

Café Orléans has the best food for table service dining in Disneyland! Carnation Café would be my 2nd choice.

In Disneyland Park I would chose for table service Carnation Cafe. For counter service We love riverbelle terrace. In DCA table service has to be Wine Country Trattoria and counter service would be taste piolots grill. In Downtown Disney it has to be Naples for table service, and We also love steakhouse 55 in Disney Hotel and Storytellers Cafe in Grand California hotel. I guess that's a lot more than one. Sorry.

No problem listing multiplte just gives me more to research I want the best experience and we don't normally eat in park so all the different choices is over wellming and seeing different choices helps us pick. We will have 3 meals at least.

I was worried about BB so I just called and the Monte is only during lunch so we have to change resorvations ugh.

If you're changing it for lunch make your PS for the first time available right at opening...that way you are "almost" guaranteed a waterside table. We checked in about 15 minutes early and were seated second right by the water.

I would love that but my Mom and Dad want a late lunch and it is for my sister so Mom is changing to between 3 and 330 ugh.

One more question sorry...How do the meals work for children under 3 will she just eat off of our or what.

Definitely BB, and the MC is on the lunch menu there. :) YUM!!! My fave!!!! Can't wait for MY bday! lol We would also go to Ariel's Grotto, another yum.

As for your little one, she can eat off yours or they should have a toddler meal available, not sure which one but they should have options for her. :)

Plaza Inn..the fried chicken dinner is yummy:goodvibes

I agree with a lot of other posters - Wine Country Trattoria at DCA and Plaza Inn at DL - though Carnation Cafe is good, I just don't think the portions there are as generous. If you want to really fill up, I think Rancho del Zocalo has the most generous portions - one of their plates has a whole lotta food on it!

I'm not a fan of Blue Bayou - I think it is way too expensive given the food quality. Applebee's quality at Steakhouse 55 prices.

Carnation Cafe is our favorite for breakfast.

A corn dog from the Red Wagon is our favorite lunch.

We don't really have a fav for dinner yet.
