We will be traveling with our 2 year old grandson and his parents. I am thinking of buying the QS meal plan for my husband and myself as we will be babysitting alot and not doing table service meals. His parents will be eating at table service meals. We are looking forward to babysitting at WDW! My question is will I be able to order both meals at once for my husband and myself while he entertains the little guy elsewhere? I am not sharing credits but don"t want the hassle of having him in line with us. Also will I have to have both KTTK cards? I've done meal plans before but never with a 2 year old along! :rotfl: Thanks!

As long as you are both in the same room/plan, it won't be a problem. Just imagine how crowded the counter service lines would be if every person on the plan was required to present themselves at the time their food was ordered! :)

Your KTTW card will state 2A meaning 2 Adults in the room. This is how the cashier will know that you're allowed to buy 2 meals at one time.

Someone goes to get a table with the kids and the other gets the food for how many are in you party indicated on the card.

Off topic, but actually you can buy more CS meals than there are people listed on your room key. We always have extra CS credits left our last day and have never had a problem using them our last day for food to take home or eat at the airport. Oct 17th my husband and I had three left over and used them at the bakery in DS to get sandwiches, chips, cupckaes, and bottled water. Our card said two adults, but we got three CS meals. We just told them it was our last day and we needed to use up our CS credits. Last May I was solo and thanks to trips over to Universal, I had three CS left on the last day. I used all three at the Boardwalk bakery--ate one there, ate one at the airport later, and took one home. We did the same thing last Dec. Three of us used six credits at WGP Express in DTD for food to take to the airport. I've also used left over credits on my last day to get four sandwiches at the Earl of Sandwich to take home with me when I was solo.

As long as you are going during a time of year in which they are not making you have your food before getting a table, this will work. If the parks are really busy, Disney sometimes polices this, and won't let you get a table until you have your food in hand.
