We will be traveling to Disney the first week of February--DH, DD1 (7), DD2 (4), and DD3 (16 months). Our first trip as a family was in December 2013, but we didn't visit Epcot, so this visit will be a first. I cannot decide if we should plan on spending one or two days at Epcot. My girls are not very adventurous so that eliminates the major attractions for them (Test Track and Soarin for sure). Is there enough to do to keep them occupied for two full days? I have been reading up on the park and I am hoping that what I am reading is not doing it justice. Thanks for your input!

If you aren't going to do Soarin' or Test Track (and I imagine you won't want to do Mission Space either), I think you could probably do EP in one day (and this coming from someone who would rather be in EP than any other park!) Unfortunately, they've closed Innoventions West, so some of the more interactive things that my DS7 has loved doing in EP are no longer there.

I would suggest doing FW in the morning and doing Spaceship Earth, the Seas with Nemo and Friends (my DS could spend an entire hour or so in this pavilion alone), Living with the Land, Journey into Imagination and possibly Character Spot if you would like to meet some of the Fab Five. You may also want to consider some of the experiences in Innoventions East - (my DS particularly likes the Habit Heroes game). If the girls aren't adventurous, I would skip Mission Space and Ellen's Universe of Energy as well. You could very easily get all of this done before lunch time. You could then have lunch and explore World Showcase. If your girls like to color, they could pick up a Duffy or Agent P color character at any pavilion. You may also want to try the Agent P adventure. Duffy makes appearances in WS as do many of the princesses. The Gran Fiesta Tour in Mexico is a fun ride and many of the pavilions offer entertainment that might be interesting to them - like the acrobats in China! My DS also likes the drums in the Outpost and the trains in Germany. I really do think you could do all that would be of interest to your girls in one day.

Thank you so much! This is very helpful!

I would say 2 especially if your kids aren't adventurous! Epcot has always been my DD's favorite (1st trip at 6, now age 10). It is such a great combination of rides, food, shops, and experiences. It also has a more relaxed vibe due to space in park. We like to do a whole day, and then usually like to go back for a half day. I had a fabulous evening with just my odd and YDD (age 2) this winter. We went specifically to get a baguette, shop in China, and then stopped at the character spot on the way out.

Wow, this was great advice and you briefed it up so organized and informative, I wish this post existed for me 6 epcot visits ago! :flower3:

To the OP (Momtoprincesses)- I hope you have a great time. One thing that I've been wishing I had gotten my girls to during our Epcot visits was that "Pick a Pearl" experience in the WS, I believe in Japan. Seems like such the cute thing to do for girls WITH a souvenir to boot. But perhaps your baby girls might be too young, I have 8 and 4 DDs, so mine are close to age to yours, yet I only really see my 8 yr old liking it. You will have plenty to do, just walking the WS, you run into dozens of character meet and greets towards early in the day, so that alone might keep the girls and you super busy. One time, we started in Canada, and geez, it was like every 20 footsteps, we ran into SOMEBODY...(M. Poppins, Aurora, Belle, Alice, Aladdin, Jasmine, Mulan, Sombrero/Mexican Donald Donald, Duffy) so it took us hours....:sad2:

Thank you all so much! Maybe we will plan on a day and a half. Sounds like that might be a good compromise.

Something else that we just discovered after 18 million trips are the Agent P adventures. You stop by a kiosk and get a cell phone, then pick a country. You follow the instructions on the phone and complete tasks in each country. Each task makes something happen and my DD6 just absolutely loves this. For example, in Japan we made a robot baby appear out of one of the displays in the Mikimoto department store. Everyone stopped and just looked at each other like what just happened? My DD just smiled and said they have no idea, I just did that!! She really feels like an undercover agent. This would be something fun to do one afternoon, along with the pick a pearl in Japan.

I would recommend a day and a half as well. We went in June with DS7 and DS4 and didn't have enough time to explore all of the world pavilions. Due to a scheduling conflict, we didn't end up with any FP+ for that day, so we skipped the headliner rides and just did a few of the others, plus we did an Agent P adventure in the UK. The Agent P adventures are pretty thorough, by the time we finished the UK one, we had seen pretty much every inch of the pavilion. Plus it's not timed or anything, so when we ran into characters during the adventure, we could stop and do those meet and greets in between. I can't say enough good things about Agent P, it really made the kids feel pretty special when they were causing things to happen around the pavilion and other people didn't know what the heck was going on! :thumbsup2

When we were kids (and we did Disney at your children's ages) Epcot was our favorite place to go, and this was before modern day Epcot with all the stuff in Future World. I would do a day there, they can do the Agent P thing (can't recall the name or if that's it) and the passport to have it stamped/written in each of the countries. With Living with the Land, you all can do the Behind the Scenes tour perhaps too. The princesses are around World Showcase too.

This sounds like so much fun!

Great to hear you liked it when you were younger!
