One or more in party not able to attend Fantasmic dinner package?

My daughter seems to have acquired a stomach ailment which manifested itself last night, about 30 hours before we're scheduled to leave for a 5-night trip to WDW. We have reservations for a Fantasmic dinner package on Wednesday evening and (assuming we still make the trip at all), I'm wondering whether or not all 5 of us will be participating in this portion of the trip.

Does anyone know if we will still be charged for all 5 people on the original reservation if one or two of us cannot attend due to illness? If this is the case, I'm leaning toward cancelling the entire reservation before the 48-hour deadline this afternoon.

Why don't you call and ask them, just to be sure?

I would call and ask to be sure, but my guess would be that it is a reservation secured by a credit card, therefore you will be charged if someone doesn't show up. I believe the cancellation timeframe is 48 hours, maybe they could cancel and give you a new reservation for the correct number of people? Definitely call now. You don't want to have to pay for anyone who isn't able to make it!

I agree that I would call and ask, however I did just that on my trip in Feb. I had a party of 4 adults and 2 children booked and two of the adults (grandparents) cancelled. I called and they changed my reservations without a problem. I also rebooked at Chef Mickeys without a problem...at least with the booking...the seating at Chef Mickeys was another story

We had ressies for the FDP at H&V for 10 in August. When we checked in, one member of our party wasn't feeling well and didn't want to eat. We explained the situation to the CM at the podium and she said it was no problem at all. He wasn't charged and he still got the pass for Fantasmic.
