I know Disney uses Coke products, but what about ketchup? My husband is picky about ketchup and only wants Heinz. Anybody happen to know what brand the restaurants use at Disney World?

I found some of those new squirt or dip heinz packets at walmart and I am thinking about picking some up to have for him. Yes, I love my husband!

All the ketchup that I have seen is in a dispenser not packets but I think its Heinz. I think so because for a few other items were in packets (like tatar sauce) and i'm sure it was Heinz.

I know what you mean about being picky of course I live 4 miles from the original plant so that may have something to do with it. :thumbsup2

If you take those packets make sure you carry them in something hard. We were carrying around bbq sauce for the autotrain ride home because at least in coach they had no bbq sauce for the Chew Chew Chewies (chicken fingers).

After we crunched two sets of packets in the backpack, we put them in a Tupperware container.

I can't guarantee that this is what they're currently using but as of last August they were still using Heinz. I have to ask every trip because of allergies. I know Heinz is safe for us.

I have seen them refilling the dispensers and it is Heinz.

On another note, my DW is a Heinz fanatic as well. For the last year I have been refilling the Heinz bottle with Walmart Great Value brand to see if see could tell the difference. She has not.
Don't try it with Hunt's brand though, even I could tell the difference.

1) Actually, items like this are whatever Nestle (Nescafé) buys for WDW.
. . . they have some latitude in changing brand names
. . . not in all cases, but in many instances
. . . so, commodity items may be changed for cost/supply/service reasons
2) Nestle has a contact to supply over 238 item groups to WDW and DLR.
. . . these are "types" of items, not simply 238 "things"
. . . included are tomato ketchup
. . . so, ketchup, tomato sauce, pizza sauces, are specifically included
. . . but, spaghetti sauce is specifically excluded
. . . so, restaurants/eateries can do their own spaghetti
3) The 10-year contract runs through 2013.

Yes my wife can also taste the difference with Hunts. The bad part is my BiL is a regional something or other for Con Agra which is Hunts. (Though I think he also buys Heinz)

* Its possible Heinz makes it also.
