I would have some friend and neighbors contact the media for you. It seems they react better when they hear the story from others. There is power in numbers.

2010 was when the OP's trip was scheduled to take place that she said she canceled when she thought she was buying the vehicle. I guess the trip was rescheduled and went on as planned. Maybe the OP did get her money back? Sounds doubtful, but they found a way to take their trip at least -- even after losing the money and still in need of another vehicle. I'm glad it worked out.

What is done is done. Don't beat yourself up. But do keep on the police, and do tell the news stations. Although it won't get your money back, it will publicize this scam.

second its a very very old thread with the original opp being stitch76 and it has been resurrected after 4/5 years by stitch69 and its their first post.

the whole thing is odd. sorry for the opp if it was as bad as it sounds but reading through all the treads its like something just does not add up.

Oh wow and I read the whole think and was so sad and upset for the poster and now to read it may be a scam! If people would use all this energy and imagination to get a real job and do something constructive instead of spending all this time scamming others, wouldn't it be a totally different world? To think so many of us fell for it and had our heartstrings touched tells you how smart this person must be - so use your powers and talents for good not evil!!
