just returned from Orlando on Sunday. She visited US/IoA and Sea World and can't wait to go back. This is her first vacation in 12 years. She didn't go to "The World" and has no desire......I can't convince her she would like Disney.

Isn't that amazing?? I am no big fan of Universal or IoA, just can't imagine anyone refusing to go to Disney.

DH had an employee who was going to LIE to her son (5 years old) and tell him that Universal was WDW. DH convinced her to just take ONE day and go to WDW. She came back and absolutely LOVED WDW!! She's a convert now and a true believer!!

Maybe you could try the ONE DAY trick!!

I had a friend who used to tell her kids that the Disney Store at the mall was WDW. They were little and fell for it of course. They actually went to WDW for the first time a couple of years ago. I guess there's no fooling them now!!

I must admit, I do love US and IofA but also love WDW. In my eyes, the two are completely different and incomparable.

I love US/IofA for the rides but the whole atmosphere/experience at WDW is amazing.

My sister has a friend that visited WDW every year. Her son thought WDW was just the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness until he was 7. Everytime he saw a commerical for WDW she would tell him that was the one in California. A friend of his went and the secret came out. That year when they went she told him they just built it. They only went to MK that was 2 years ago and they still haven't gone to any of the other parks.

I love US and IOA as well. Especially HHN in October. will never go and do MNSSHP again. But then again my kids are in their teens.

but nothing beats the magic of walking down main street in MK. Nothing will ever compare!!!!!!!!!
